У роботі здійснено теоретичний аналіз існуючих підходів до дослідження проблеми комунікативних здібностей. Обґрунтовано вербальну та невербальну комунікацію в гендерному аспекті комунікативної поведінки. Висвітлено комунікативні характеристики особистості керівника та проаналізовано особливості комунікативних здібностей керівника соціальної служби. Емпірично досліджено особливості впливу комунікативних здібностей керівника соціальної служби на ефективність його управлінської діяльності. The problem of the influence of the social service manager's communication skills on the effectiveness of his managerial activities was investigated. The object of research is the communication skills of the manager. The subject of the study is the influence of the social service manager's communication skills on the effectiveness of his managerial activities. The paper provides a theoretical analysis of existing approaches to the study of the problem of communicative abilities. Verbal and non-verbal communication in the gender aspect of communicative behavior is substantiated. The communicative characteristics of the manager's personality are highlighted and the features of the social service manager's communicative abilities are analyzed. The peculiarities of the influence of the social service manager's communication skills on the effectiveness of his managerial activities have been empirically investigated.
